Tattenhall Cricket Club is a member of the Vivio Cheshire County League, where the 1st and 2nd XI’s play on Saturdays, the 3rd XI on Sundays, and the Over-40s XI play midweek. In addition, over 100 juniors are involved at Under-9’s to Under-18’s levels, with Friday evening coaching sessions for the Under-9’s. Indoor nets take place in February and March, and outdoor practice sessions start in early April.

The playing conditions and amenities at Tattenhall are second-to-none with a square that consistently obtained the highest marks from visiting teams. A new score box, covers and sight screens, together with the new changing facilities, make Tattenhall arguably one of the best appointed clubs in the area. The club enjoys an active social life based around the Memorial Pavilion. There has been a cricket club in Tattenhall since circa 1864, playing on the current site since the early 1900s.

The Club has an enviable reputation for playing a high standard of cricket, whilst retaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The club is registered underĀ ECB Clubmark registration, which is a guarantee of efficient and forward-looking management incorporating Child Protection and Equity Policies and Development Plans.

The Club would welcome new players of all ages and abilities, and can guarantee a safe and enjoyable cricketing environment.
